This Privacy Policy covers synapseworks.org (the website) and SynapseWorks’ general handling of personal data.
Product-specific data handling for Atlassian Marketplace apps is described below. For other digital products (e.g., browser extensions), product-specific privacy details will be provided on the relevant product page.

SynapseWorks provides multiple Jira delivery products, including Synapse and Decision Register for Jira. This policy explains how data is handled for each product.
Decision Register for Jira is Forge-only with no external backend, no external storage, and no external network egress.
Synapse Forge is a Jira app that runs on Atlassian using a fully Forge-native runtime. Jira issue context is processed within Forge context and returned to Jira.
Synapse data flow: Jira → Atlassian Forge runtime → Jira.
Analytics for synapseworks.org is managed at the Cloudflare edge (for example, via Zaraz with Google Analytics 4). Analytics is disabled by default and only enabled after you opt in. We do not embed tracking scripts directly in this site repository.
Operational logs are retained only as long as required for troubleshooting and security monitoring. Product outputs reside in your Jira site. Where analytics is enabled by consent, event retention is managed through standard GA4 controls.
For visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, analytics processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or by responding to the consent prompt when it appears.
Access is restricted by Forge scopes and least-privilege controls. Forge-issued tokens remain within Forge-managed context and are not persisted as credentials by SynapseWorks.
You can uninstall a product at any time to revoke access tokens issued through Atlassian Forge. For data questions or deletion requests, contact us.
