Privacy Policy

SynapseWorks is a Jira Forge app that keeps your data scoped to your Atlassian site. We do not store Jira credentials or personal access tokens.

Data we handle

• Issue context needed to generate BDD scenarios and create subtasks.
• appUserToken from Atlassian Forge to authenticate actions within your site.
• Operational logs necessary for reliability and security monitoring.

Data we do not store

• No Jira credentials, passwords, or personal access tokens.
• No analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies for marketing.
• No data unrelated to generating BDD scenarios or creating subtasks.

Purpose of processing

Data is processed only to generate executable BDD scenarios and create linked subtasks in Jira. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Data flow

Jira → Atlassian Forge (appUserToken) → SynapseWorks backend (processing) → Jira. Data remains within this flow for the duration of the request.

Retention

Operational logs are retained only as long as required for troubleshooting and security. Generated content and subtasks reside in your Jira site.

Security

Access to processing services is restricted by Forge scopes and service-side controls. Sensitive tokens remain within Forge-managed context and are not persisted by SynapseWorks.

Your choices

Uninstalling the app revokes access tokens issued through Atlassian Forge. For data questions or deletion requests, contact us.
